Bit Sentinel at the High-Level Cyber Resilience Regional Forum | Bucharest 2026

The High-Level Cyber Resilience Regional Forum held on 23 April 2026 in the iconic Palace of the Parliament brought together key stakeholders from across the cybersecurity landscape – government representatives, industry leaders, and regional partners – all aligned by a shared mission: strengthening cyber resilience through collaboration.

The event was coordinated by the National Coordination Centre Romania (NCC-RO) and supported by the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), alongside RoAid – the Romanian Agency for International Development Cooperation, which plays a central role in facilitating international collaboration initiatives. Additional institutional support was provided by the Government of Romania, the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, together with the Central European Initiative (CEI) – a regional intergovernmental forum dedicated to fostering cooperation and resilience across Central and Eastern Europe. This broad coalition of organizers reflects the forum’s strategic importance in advancing cyber resilience through cross-border collaboration and coordinated regional efforts.

For Bit Sentinel, participation in this prestigious event marked an important milestone.

Recognition and community engagement

During the forum, Bit Sentinel was honored with a Community Member Diploma, a recognition that reflects our continued commitment to supporting and strengthening the cybersecurity ecosystem. This acknowledgment reinforces our belief that resilience is not built in isolation, but through active contribution, knowledge sharing, and trusted partnerships.

Bit Sentinel NCC-RO Cyber Resilience

Active contribution to the Romanian Cybersecurity Community

As part of the forum, Florina Avădănei represented Bit Sentinel during the First Meeting of the Romanian Cybersecurity Community within the NCC-RO project. This session marked an important step in shaping a unified national approach to cybersecurity collaboration.

Key highlights of the meeting included the presentation of the NCC-RO vision and strategic roadmap, open discussions with community members on current challenges and opportunities, and the identification of common priorities and contributions toward the Regional Compact.

Florina’s involvement ensured that Bit Sentinel actively contributed to these key conversations, helping align strong expertise with national and regional cybersecurity objectives. As she emphasized during the event, “Collaboration, trust, and deep expertise are the foundation of a truly resilient cybersecurity community – and we are committed to working hard to put Romania on the map for elite cybersecurity services and products, while actively contributing to capacity building at a national level.”

Bit Sentinel NCC-RO Cyber Resilience

Showcasing expertise on a regional level

One of the highlights of our participation was the opportunity to present our work during a closed-door session attended by high-level delegations from neighboring countries. This setting allowed for meaningful dialogue around real-world challenges, innovative approaches, and practical solutions in cybersecurity.

Presenting in such a context was not only a privilege, but also a validation of the impact and relevance of our work across the region. It opened the door for deeper discussions on cross-border cooperation and shared resilience strategies.

Strengthening connections across the industry

Beyond the formal sessions, the forum provided an excellent environment for networking and engagement. Connecting with peers, decision-makers, and fellow cybersecurity professionals enabled us to exchange perspectives, explore collaboration opportunities, and stay aligned with emerging trends shaping the industry.

These interactions are essential in a field where threats evolve rapidly, and collective awareness and cooperation are key to staying ahead.

Looking ahead

Our participation in the High-Level Cyber Resilience Regional Forum reaffirmed Bit Sentinel’s role as an active contributor to the cybersecurity community. As a one-stop shop for cybersecurity, we deliver end-to-end services – from penetration testing and incident response to managed security, consultancy, and security awareness – supporting organizations in navigating an increasingly complex threat landscape across Cloud, Web, Mobile, and IoT environments.

With a team of highly skilled specialists combining offensive and defensive expertise, Bit Sentinel helps organizations identify vulnerabilities, strengthen defenses, and ensure compliance, while actively contributing to the broader goal of building a more resilient cybersecurity ecosystem.

We remain committed to fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and supporting initiatives that enhance cyber resilience at both national and regional levels.

We extend our appreciation to the organizers and all participants for creating a space where meaningful conversations and impactful connections can thrive.
