Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Security Research Engineer to join our growing team!

For this role, IoT Security Assessment focuses on Product Security, with an emphasis on IoT devices.

We’re looking for a candidate with several years of experience in product security and/or penetration testing – ideally involving medical or IoT devices – or at least a strong background in application security.

The ideal candidate is an offensive security expert who excels at identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities.

They should be proficient in Python and Bash scripting, collaborative, curious, and passionate about breaking things to understand how they work. A self-starter mindset and the ability to tackle unfamiliar challenges with minimal guidance are essential.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and investigate vulnerabilities in networking enabled devices and complex applications.
  • Develop tools and test cases.
  • Perform targeted customer and industry research to assist in developing tools and test cases to validate the security and stability of networking devices.
  • Participate in the analysis and development of new audits or penetration testing tools
  • Propose new tools, features to improve the coverage of our product

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in product security and/or penetration testing
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Qualys, others)
  • Experience with web penetration testing (Burp, Zap, DirB, Hydra, others)
  • Experience working with medical or IOT devices
  • Experience with Wi-Fi, BT, IP Fuzzing
  • Good scripting/programming skills in multiple languages (Python, Ruby, etc.).
  • Good OOP knowledge
  • Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Nice to have: Docker experience
