The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of Linux, Windows, Networking, Ansible, Docker, Python, virtualisation, cloud, and a lot of enthusiasm. They should be capable of creating complex infrastructures for realistic and challenging scenarios that will be integrated into gamified activities such as Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, Attack & Defense exercises, and educational training. 

Your primary mission as an Infrastructure Hero at CyberEDU is to create and test complex lab environments and technical scenarios used in cybersecurity modules developed on CyberEDU, providing authentic and challenging experiences to our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating laboratory environments and necessary infrastructures for developing cybersecurity scenarios.
• Designing and configuring the infrastructure required for educational programs, labs, and cybersecurity events organized by CyberEDU.
• Collaborating closely with the team to define scenario requirements and objectives.
• Testing and validating scenarios to ensure functionality and authenticity.
• Maintaining and updating existing scenarios to remain relevant and competitive.
• Configuring and managing virtual environments and infrastructure for scenarios.
• Monitoring cybersecurity developments and integrating them into scenarios.
• Developing complexity to provide our users with authentic learning experiences and challenges in cybersecurity.
• Managing and maintaining virtual infrastructure to ensure stability and functionality.
• Collaborating with the development and training teams to define scenario objectives and ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Continuously updating and improving infrastructure and scenarios to reflect new trends and technologies in cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Advanced DevOps knowledge.
• Solid experience in configuring and managing virtual environments using technologies such as Vsphere, Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers like Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, etc.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and Ansible.
• Solid experience in using and managing Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networks and network protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Creativity and the ability to think strategically to develop captivating scenarios.

Nice to Have:

• Cybersecurity knowledge and the ability to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of industrial systems (OT).
